The Heavy Desert Podcast – My Top 10 Favorite Albums of the 3rd Quarter (July, August, & September) of 2025
It was another stacked quarter of heavy underground music releases for Q3. I was once again a guest on The Heavy Desert Podcast with Dan Sierras, where we dive into our top ten favorite releases from July through September. You can listen to the episode either on Apple Music or Spotify. The episode was recorded on Sunday, October 5th and aired on Thursday, October 9th. We also feature a bunch of honorable mentions (including EPs) that I decided to list here. Similar to my Q2 feature back in early July (check it out here), there are many albums that I am still discovering and have not had the opportunity to listen to yet. This list is an ever changing and evolving series. The order presented here is never set in stone. The difficulty in compiling a top ten list is the rotation of favorites that is constantly shifting. I want to thank Dan and The Heavy Desert Podcast for inviting me on for a third time to discuss all things music. It is always fun comparing our lists, sharing it with the listeners, and hearing others compile their own list. I appreciate everyone that listens to the podcast and reads some of my reviews and content.
