Onto The Afterlife was released on May 1st 2026 on Lunar Mountain Records and contains five tracks at forty one minutes long.

The opening track “Soldier Of Love” commences Onto The Afterlife with a a riff rocking battleground of stoner grooves with atmospheric textures. The music builds from fuzzy tones and releases some alluring psychedelic elements that really enhances the overall sonic experience. The vocals enter just before the two minute mark and display a smooth and powerful dynamic to their already dense sound. The guitar leads are bluesy and elaborate and the band fills a lot of space with only three members. There’s a spacy and cosmic glide to the music that lures you along for the ride. The title track “Onto The Afterlife” is next and begins with the bass starting things off. The ethereal guitars color is the song as the rhythm section holds it all together. The vocals have a reverb-esc echo component to them that sounds mesmerizing and majestic. Robot God has a unique ability to culminate sounds that swell and taper off with such depth and subtlety.

The third track, entitled “Cerebral Annihilation” is a colossal musical enchantment. The entrancing riffs and melodies are heightened by the spoken verses at the start and cascade into a world of sonic exploration. The slow brewing movement has a heavy psych appeal immersed in some massive doom riffs. It strikes hard but channels in some phasing tones and spellbinding guitar leads, keeping the song somewhat grounded. The next track called “I Am The Night” is the longest cut on the record. Surpassing the eleven minute mark, Robot God has the cosmic flow and spacy ambiance to capture the listener. The hypnotic tones and trippy vocals are the pathway into a new dimension. The band has the enriching sound of a high quality instrumental band but with great vocals to further elevate everything. Each of these tracks are destined to lead you on a journey into another universe, especially “I Am The Night”, with its developing resonance and jamming build up.

The fifth and final track is called “Long Goodbye”. It begins with a nice mellow structure of clean guitars and tasteful leads. The song has a slightly melancholy tone with excellent musicianship and commanding vocals. Beautiful singing harmonies backing are augmented into their sound as the music flows nicely ahead with delicate perseverance. The unhurried tones are a perfect complement to the more riff driven compositions. Onto The Afterlife is a terrific album that broadens the sound of an already prolific band. They released two albums in 2024, Portal Within and Subconscious Awakening. The creative process is peaking and from the sounds of Onto The Afterlife, there is no sign of slowing down. This is definitely a record that needs to be heard multiple times for full clarity and engagement. Robot God has such a dense and captivating sound that moves me just right.
