They released 2023’s Fuzzing Nation EP, 2024’s Into the Desert EP, and their latest debut full length album, 2026’s Mothertruck. Mothertruck was released on March 27th 2026 on Argonauta Records. It contains ten tracks at forty three minutes long.
Fuzzing Nation shares some information about the album on their Bandcamp page that states: “Mothertruck is a concept album that follows a journey in search of a legend, with the story unfolding track by track until the very last song, where everything finally comes together. Musically, we wanted this record to capture the core of our sound while pushing it further than before. You’ll hear the desert vibe that defines Fuzzing Nation, massive fuzz-driven riffs and heavy groove foundations, but also more atmospheric moments that give the songs space to breathe. At the same time, we didn’t hold back from bringing in raw, explosive touches of punk and hardcore energy. Those elements create strong dynamics throughout the album, moving from hypnotic grooves to aggressive, high-energy bursts.”
The album starts off with “Burning Roads”, a hard driving stoner rocking song that is a full throttle ride down the desert highway. The fuzzed-out riffs and good vocals are heavy and complementary to the psychedelic leads and catchy grooves. The title track, “Mothertruck” starts with a fuzzy guitar riff with some pounding drums that explode into a heavy groove of desert rock. The band are unapologetic classic stoner rock and they don’t hold back at all. Plenty of ground shaking riffs with ample amounts of fuzz rocking greatness. “The Open Wound” starts off a little mellow but then cranks up the volume significantly. The catchy vocals and chorus lines are what makes these songs stick out.
The song “Dead Old Tree” has a plodding and rhythmic groove that glides throughout the track. The bass begins “The Elder’s Code” and carries a funky tone as the swinging drum beat guides the song along. Fuzz-laden guitar tones and psychedelic swirls dress the song up in riff rocking fashion. “I Don’t Believe” is a blazing punk fueled track that is fast and kicks in the heavy rhythms in between the speed. “Fallen Angel” hits the heavy switch with a catchy resonance of fuzz and groove, while blending in some powerful leads that capture the listener’s attention.
The drum hammering start to “The Core Machine” is a hard pounding rocker of infectious rhythms and electrifying leads, commanded by straight ahead vocals. “Turn The Key” slows it down to a dense doom ensemble that sludges ahead with heaviness and conviction. The bulldozing grooves are met with catchy singing. The final track on Mothertruck is called “I Don’t Care At All“. It’s a fast rocker that is equal parts punk and metal. The funkified verses are joined with catchy vocal melodies and some scorching leads. Fuzzing Nation are on a sonic rampage with Mothertruck and deliver one hell of a fuzzy ride, that begs repeating.
